| Come Command
|
|
|
|
- Place your dog on a 20 foot lead so that it will be safe if it does not come to you.
- Walk away from your dog starting with small distances.
- Say the dogs name.
- Say "come" while moving your extended arm toward your chest.
- Gently real in the leash as the dog walks towards you.
- Once the dog reaches you praise him, then give him the treat.

Gradually increase the distance you move away from your dog.
Note: If your dog wanders in an opposite direction, restart the training session. Try using an excited voice to call the dog.
