Dr. Fitzgerald

Dr. Fitzgerald is a past officer of the Gwinnett Veterinary Association, Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, and a board member of the AnEmerge Animal Emergency Center in Gainesville. She and her husband Brian have 3 grown boys and 3 grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys her horses and snow skiing.

Dr. Fitzgerald grew up in Avondale and attended the University of Georgia. She graduated from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine in 1976 and has practiced small animal medicine in the North Atlanta area since her graduation.

In 1989, Dr. Fitzgerald opened Suwanee Animal Hospital and has practiced medicine and managed the hospital since then. She has seen it grow from a single veterinarian practice and Suwanee's first veterinary clinic to a full service animal hospital. Dr. Fitzgerald strives to maintain constant quality medicine at Suwanee Animal Hospital.

Dr. Joe Fitzgerald

Dr. Joe Fitzgerald joined Suwanee Animal Hospital in 2008 after finishing his final year of Veterinary Medical School at the University of Pennsylvania (#1 ranked Vet School in the US). He holds a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University with honors and Bachelors of Science Degrees in Molecular & Biochemistry and Cellular Biology from the University of Georgia. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

His special interests include geriatric medicine, intensive care and feline internal medicine. Dr. Joe Fitzgerald is the son of the medical director and owner, Dr. Margaret Fitzgerald.
Dr. Watson

Dr. Tony L. Watson is a native of Tennessee, currently residing in Hall County. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture with Honors and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Immediately after graduation in 1989, Dr. Watson joined a large companion animal practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. This busy practice served as a host clinic for specialists from varied fields and allowed Dr. Watson to experience a wider spectrum of veterinary medicine.

In 1994, he moved to Gainesville, Georgia and joined a rapidly growing companion animal practice where he remained for 15 years. This practice has allowed him to perform surgery almost exclusively which is his greatest talent and passion.

Dr. Watson is also involved with the Western Veterinary Conference. He began working with WVC while working in Nevada in 1990 as a Chairman. He continued Chairman duties until being voted onto the WVC Board of Directors in 2002. Since his four year term on the board ended, Dr. Watson has been serving on the WVC Scholarship Committee. In 2007, Dr. Watson took on a newly formed position as WVC Moderator Facilitator. He is currently on the ballot for vice president-elect.

Dr. Watson lives in Oakwood, with his wife, Lisa and their two children, Alexa and Josh. In his off time, he enjoys going to church, boating, shooting, and speaking to various groups about the many aspects of veterinary medicine and pet care. He is a member of the AVMA, Georgia VMA, and the Northeast Georgia VMA.

Dr. Madeline Lowery

Dr. Madeline Lowery received her Bachelors of Science degree from Clayton College and State University in Morrow, GA after attending two years at Young Harris College in North Ga where she received her Associates of Science degree. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May 2008 from Iowa State University. Her special interests include cardiology, internal medicine, dermatology and neurology. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.

She is a native of Lawrenceville, Ga and attended veterinary school in Iowa after her husband was transferred there with his job. Dr. Lowery lives in Dawsonville with her husband James and their 3 children, Ethan (4 yr), Carter (2 yr), and their new baby daughter Madeline "Elizabeth" (3 months). They also have a 5 year old Great Dane named Lilly. In addition to veterinary medicine she enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her children, family, and friends. She loves to spend time outside playing sports, swimming, and relaxing in nature.

Dr. Patel

Dr. Anita Patel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (minor in Biology and Chemistry) from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. She attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her DVM degree in May 2013. Her veterinary interests include: emergency medicine, ultrasound, and soft tissue surgery. She is an active member for the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Patel was born and raised in and around Huntsville, AL. She has two rescue dogs that keep her on her toes: a Heinz 57 mix breed dog named Max and a Beagle-terrier mix named Finnigan. In her free time, Dr. Patel enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, cooking, relaxing near large bodies of water, and running with her dogs.

Dr. Carlie Beach

Dr. Carlie Beach is a 2017 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine (West Lafayette, IN). Prior to veterinary school, she attended Grinnell College (Grinnell, IA) where she received a B.A. in Psychology, followed by Dominican University (River Forest, IL) where she received a B.M.S. in Pre-Medical Studies. She originally hails from Oak Park, IL, a near suburb of Chicago.

During veterinary school, Dr. Beach was actively involved in learning about exotic animal medicine as a board member of the Exotic Animal Club. Additional veterinary interests include behavior, surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and emergency medicine. Dr. Beach enjoys working with all types of animals, particularly large and giant breed dogs, cats, pocket pets, and aquatic species including fish. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Beach lives in Peachtree Corners with her husband. Piper, their St. Bernard hound dog cross, and Adelaide, their tortoiseshell cat, keep her busy at home. She also enjoys playing volleyball, fishing, camping and hiking, photography, crafting, and cooking in her free time.

Dr. Henry Pan

Dr. Henry Pan was born and raised in Taiwan. He moved to the United States in 2005 to pursue his dream in veterinary medicine. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at Iowa State University, he continued his education there and graduated from College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Soon after graduation, he moved to Georgia and started practicing veterinary medicine since then. He is a member of Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and American Veterinary Medical Association. He has three dogs, named Fufu, Fern and Peanut. In his spare time, Dr. Pan enjoys sports and outdoor activities.
Dr. Jeremiah Rusiewicz

Dr. Jeremiah Rusiewicz graduated with honors from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. He received a B.S. in Health Sciences in 2006 from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA. He became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2006 through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). His special interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine and preventive medicine.

Dr. Rusiewicz is originally from Savannah, GA but moved to Athens, GA in 2011 to accompany his wife, Heather while she earned her M.A. in Special Education at the University of Georgia. They share a home in Athens, GA with their two sons, Aesa and Emile, and their three dogs. Jeremiah enjoys attending UGA Football games, working out, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Amy Crutchfield

Dr. Amy Crutchfield was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Johns Creek, GA. She is a proud double dawg earning both her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. After graduation, Dr. Crutchfield practiced small animal and emergency medicine in Tallahassee for nearly four years.

She returned to Georgia to start a family, and happily welcomed her daughter, Claire, in 2018. Dr. Crutchfield is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association. She spends her free time baking, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and exploring North Georgia with her husband, daughter, and rescue dogs, Dory & Jessie (both named after Disney characters).

Dr. Fabiola Flores Reyero

Dr. Fabiola Flores Reyero received her Bachelor of Science, minored in both biology & chemistry, from University of North Georgia in Dahlonega. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine January 2020 from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts & Nevis. For her clinical year in school, Dr. Fabiola practiced at Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine in Manhattan.

Dr. Fabiola was born and raised in Puerto Rico & moved to Georgia in 2005. She is fluent in both English & Spanish. She also has 3 dogs that keep her on her toes, a male Boxer named Tiger, a.k.a Wiggles, a male Dutch Shepherd named Meko, a.k.a Meme, & a female Chihuahua mix named Sofia, a.k.a Nani. Exercising by doing CrossFit & traveling to different parts of the world are Dr. Fabiola's favorite hobbies, but her true passion has always been to practice Veterinary Medicine.
